• Aptara: Formerly known as TechBooks, Aptara has capabilities in development, composition, data conversion, and media production.
• Copyright Clearance Center: CCC provides a wide variety of services that assist not only with clearing rights, but also in handling permissions and rights granting.
• FirstSource: FirstSource provides a variety of composition, conversion, QA and rights services.
• PreMedia Global: Pre-Press Company, now Pre-PressPMG, is owned by the Premedia Group. They focus on rights, development, project management, composition, art and production services for educational publishers. They have recently introduced psychometrically valid assessment item development as a new service line. Pre-Press PMG is located in Plymouth, MA.
• Q2ABillSmith (QBS): QBS provides print and digital development across a range of services including content development, instructional design, design, composition, and rights research.
